Dhaka University (DU) is Bangladesh's premier public university, established in 1921. It is the primary affiliating university for the largest number of private and public medical colleges in Bangladesh. DU's Faculty of Medicine sets the curriculum and conducts professional examinations (MBBS Prof Exams) for all affiliated medical colleges. Medical degrees from DU-affiliated colleges are recognized globally.
