Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College is a government medical college in Dhaka. The hospital was established in 1963 (originally as Ayub Central Hospital) and upgraded to a medical college in 2006. Affiliated with Dhaka University and offering 225 MBBS seats, it is recognized by BMDC and situated in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Named after Prime Minister Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, it is a major teaching institution in Dhaka.
