Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College is a premier government college established in 1936 (college started 1962) in Sylhet. Affiliated with Sylhet Medical University and named after General MAG Osmani, commander-in-chief of Bangladesh's Liberation War forces. The 51-acre campus includes a 1,000-bed hospital serving northeastern Bangladesh. Recognized by BMDC, WHO (since 1985), WDOMS (since 1997), and NMC. Offers 225 MBBS seats.
