University of Rajshahi (RU), established on July 6, 1953, is a Grade A public university in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. It affiliates several medical colleges in the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions through the Rajshahi Medical University (RMU), which was formally constituted in 2017. The Rajshahi Medical University now governs medical education for affiliated private and government medical colleges in northern Bangladesh.
