The seeds of Major S. D. Singh P.G. Ayurvedic Medical College were planted by a great patriot, an educationist with a vision, a social reformer Shri Babu Singh Yadav for providing access to high quality education to all those who seek it irrespective of region , religion and gender. Then after this medical college flourished in guidance of Dr. Jitendra Singh and Dr. Anita Ranjan to advance scientific, technical and professional knowledge, combined with the necessary practical training for developing the material resources of the country.
Dr. Jitendra Singh and Dr. Anita Ranjan nourished this college by all his intellectual, spiritual, and social efforts which results that this college is leading educational institute of the country. College offers B.A.M.S. Course of 4.5 years (100 Seats) and M.D./M.S. (Ayurveda) of 3 Years (84 seats). College offers PG in Rachana Sharir, Kriya Sharir, Ayurved Samhita Evam Siddhant, Ras Sastra, Rognidan, Swasthavart, Dravguna, Angadtantra, Stri Evam Prasuti Rog, Balrog, Kayachikisa, Shalyatantra, Shalakya Tantra and Panchakarm The college is recognized by Central Government and CCIM New Delhi and is permanently affiliated with Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
