Kanyakumari Govt. Medical College is located in Asaripallam,Nagercoil which was earlier known as Govt. T.B Hospital. Government Medical College was started in the year of 2004 to accommodate 100 MBBS Under graduate students (Both State and All India Quota). Since the year 2016, Post graduate courses were also started. The college is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. The college and the hospital are funded and managed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
