Assam NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the centralized, merit-based state admission process for postgraduate medical degree and diploma courses (MD, MS, and PG Diploma) across government and participating medical institutions in the state. Assam features a structured medical admission framework. Following the national dual-channel seat allocation model, 50% of postgraduate seats in Assam Government Medical Colleges are surrendered to the All India Quota (AIQ) managed centrally by MCC via mcc.nic.in, while the remaining 50% of government seats and state quota slots are administered by DME Assam. 2. Management & NRI Quota Provisions

• Seat Share: Limited institutional or private-pool seats where applicable are regulated as per state guidelines. Government medical colleges in Assam do not feature open management or NRI quota seats for postgraduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifying Examination: Must have qualified NEET PG 2026 conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) by securing the mandatory minimum qualifying percentile.
