Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the centralized, merit-based state admission process for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses across government and private medical colleges, administered online by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun.

50% of postgraduate seats in Uttarakhand Government Medical Colleges are surrendered to the AIQ managed by MCC, while the remaining 50% of government seats and 100% of private college seats are administered by HNBUMU.

1. State Quota (50% in Government Medical Institutions)

• Seat Share: 50% of seats in Government Medical Colleges (Government Medical College Haldwani, Government Doon Medical College Dehradun, VCSG Government Medical College Srinagar Pauri Garhwal).
• Eligibility: Reserved for candidates with valid Uttarakhand domicile/residency, or MBBS from a recognized Uttarakhand institution; reservation applies for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD.
• Fee Structure: Highly subsidized government fee scale.

2. Management / Private Quota (Private Medical Colleges)

• Seat Share: Open management and state quota seats across Private Medical Colleges (Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences Jolly Grant Dehradun, SGRRIMHS Dehradun, Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya).
• Eligibility: Open to NEET PG qualified aspirants nationwide; Uttarakhand domicile not mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have qualified NEET PG 2026 with the required minimum percentile (50th Gen/EWS, 40th SC/ST/OBC, 45th UR-PwD).
• Must possess a recognized MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate from an NMC-recognized college.
• Must have completed or be scheduled to complete the mandatory 12-month rotatory internship by the official cutoff date.
