Last Updated on August 07, 2026

Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu NEET PG Counselling 2026: Overview Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH & DD) NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the centralized, merit-based admission process for postgraduate medical degree and diploma courses (MD, MS, and PG Diploma) across the integrated Union Territory. The counselling procedure is strictly organized and administered by the Directorate of Medical & Health Services, UT Administration of DNH & DD, in coordination with NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute, Silvassa.

The Union Territory of DNH & DD features a focused and centralized medical admission framework, as NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute (NAMO MERI), Silvassa (associated with the 650+ bedded Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital) is the sole premier medical college operating under the UT Administration. Because there are no private or deemed postgraduate medical colleges located within DNH & DD, all postgraduate medical seat allocations are strictly merit-based and divided under the following two-tier structure:

1. All India Quota (AIQ - 50% Seats)

• Seat Share: Comprises 50% of the total postgraduate MD/MS seats available at NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute, Silvassa.

• Eligibility: Open to NEET PG qualified aspirants from across India on a pure merit basis.

• Counselling Authority: Managed separately online by the Medical Counselling  Committee (MCC) via mcc.nic.in.

2. UT State / Domicile Quota (50% Seats)

• Seat Share: Comprises the remaining 50% of the total postgraduate MD/MS seats, administered directly by the UT Administration and NAMO MERI Silvassa.

• Eligibility: Reserved specifically for local domiciliaries/permanent residents of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, or candidates who have completed their

qualifying MBBS degree from NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute,Silvassa.

• Fee Structure: Highly subsidized government academic fee structure, making NAMO MERI Silvassa an exceptionally economical clinical training institution.

• Crucial Note on Quotas: Candidates must note that as NAMO MERI is a government institution developed under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government

of India, there are zero Management Quota or NRI Quota seats available for postgraduate MD/MS courses. All admissions are granted strictly through MCC AIQ counselling or UT State Quota merit.
