Shahabuddin Medical College was established in 2003 in Gulshan, Dhaka, by Alhaj Mohammed Shahabuddin, a prominent businessman. Affiliated with Dhaka University and recognized by BMDC, WHO, NMC, WDOMS, and IMED. It has 90 MBBS seats, 40% reserved for foreign students. The 12-storey campus includes a 500-bed hospital, modern labs, library, and separate hostels for boys and girls. Very popular with Indian students for its Dhaka location and holistic facilities.
