Government Medical College, Paderu

Government Medical College Paderu is situated in a broad picturesque, it falls
under the agro-climatic zone of high altitude and with rich flora, fauna and
lush green area and valleys with an altitude of over 900 meters above the sea
level (MSL) surrounded by the mountains and Hills range of Eastern Ghats of
Andhra Pradesh, 110-114 KMs away from the Visakhapatnam erstwhile
District.
The Government medical college and hospital put together with an extent of
35 acres.
The annual initial intake of 50 MBBS seats for the academic year 2024-25.
The Medical college has attached to the GGH with 420 bed strength and all
broad perspective specialities with above 800 OP (Out Patient) per day.
GMC and GGH are providing quality education for students, catering, health
care services, to the poor and needy Adivasi tribals by the eminent faculties.
The GMC & GGH have furnished with huge galleries and classrooms and
having 4 hostels (Boys hostel, Girl’s hostel, Senior Residency hostel, Interns
hostel) and also providing residential quarters for faculty members and
working staff nurses.
