Government Medical College Buldhana is newly established Medical College by Government of Maharashtra state on 14th July 2023.  Letter of Permission from National Medical commission, for 100 admissions per year to MBBS course is received on 3rd October 2024 . The admissions are permitted from Academic year 2024-25. 

The District Civil Hospital Buldhana and District Women hospital with total Hospital bed strength of 420, is attached to this college .

This college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik,  and Governed by Directorate of Medical Education And Research, under Medical Education and Drugs Department,  Government of Maharashtra,Mumbai.  

Buldhana District is situated in western  part of  Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.  

Buldhana District has famous Gajanan Maharaj temple at Shegaon and Meteorite lake at Lonar. So also, It is just 60 km from world famous Ajanta caves.
