Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College was established in 2002 by Mohammed Shamsul Hoque in Konia, Gazipur, near Dhaka. Affiliated with Dhaka University and recognized by BMDC, WHO, and NMC. It has 105 MBBS seats and a teaching hospital. Located close to Dhaka, it provides excellent clinical exposure. Named after Tairunnessa, a historically significant figure in Bengali culture.
