The most critical step; select your preferred colleges in the correct order based on your rank
MCC allots seats based on choices, rank, and category. Decide whether to accept or upgrade.
Fill fresh choices for round 2 , if willing of upgradation or taken a free exit in round 1 . Look at both seat matrix virtual & clear
Round 2 Allotment Fresh and upgrade allotment process. Report to college, if satisfied don't apply for upgradation if not then report & upgrade. If you dont report loose security deposits
Mop-Up round for remaining seats after Round 2. A crucial opportunity to secure a seat. Fresh registration available for non registered & for candidates who opted not to report in round 2 with fresh fees & security deposits
Fill choices for mop-up round, look at virtual & clear vacancies be realistic look at last closing ranks in round 1 & round 2 fill choices
Allotment Fresh and upgrade allotment process. Report to college. If not allotted try for stray round .
The final stage for any residual seats. This is high-risk, high-opportunity; expert strategy is vital.
These processes run in parallel with, or in sequence to, MCC rounds; you must ensure you register separately for each relevant state. Keeping up with the counselling timeline requires your full attention, as missing even one round can effectively result in a lost year. Therefore, it is highly recommended to appoint a counsellor to manage every aspect of the counselling process on your behalf

"I almost gave up and thought my score of 572 was too low. Navin sir showed me data I didn't even know existed — Tamil Nadu state cutoffs, deemed college options, management quota strategy. I'm now in MDS Periodontics. Worth every rupee."
"Three of my batchmates enrolled with different 'free' groups on Telegram and didn't get seats they deserved. I paid for Navin sir's Platinum Plan and got OMFS at MAHER University. The data, the speed, the accuracy — unmatched."
"The stray vacancy round alone is worth hiring Navin sir. I got a government MDS seat in the mop-up that no one in my group thought was possible. His real-time tracking is phenomenal."

Based on 2025 closing data and the 2026 merit list distribution, the expected NEET MDS 2026 cutoff for General category in government dental colleges under MCC AIQ ranges between 560–680 marks depending on specialty. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery remains the highest cutoff specialty, while Public Health Dentistry typically has the lowest.
MCC NEET MDS counselling typically has 2 main rounds followed by a Stray Vacancy round. Each round requires separate choice filling. The Stray Vacancy round is crucial as it fills remaining unfilled seats and can be your last opportunity.
Yes, you can register and participate in both MCC counselling (for All India Quota seats) and state quota counsellings (for state-level seats) simultaneously. However, once you accept a seat in MCC, your state counselling options may be affected depending on state rules.
Required documents include: NEET MDS 2026 Admit Card and Result, Class 10 & 12 certificates, BDS degree certificate and mark sheets, Internship completion certificate, MCI/State Council registration, Category certificate (if applicable), Domicile certificate for state quota, and photos.
All India Quota (AIQ) seats (15% of government seats) are filled through MCC counselling and open to all regardless of domicile. State Quota seats (85% of government + all private college seats) are filled through state counsellings and usually require state domicile.
Yes, private and deemed dental colleges have management quota seats (typically 15–25% of total seats) that are filled through the respective college after state counselling rounds. These seats may have higher fees but lower cutoffs.
Specialty selection depends on: your NEET MDS 2026 score, category, government vs private preference, and 2025 baseline cutoffs. A high scorer may access OMFS or Orthodontics; mid-range may target Periodontics or Prosthodontics. Our counselling maps your exact rank.
The Stray Vacancy Round fills seats left unfilled after main MCC rounds. Cutoffs can drop significantly (20–40 marks). However, it requires fast decision-making within 24–48 hours. Expert guidance is highly recommended for this round.
