West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2026: Dates, Eligibility, Application Process & Seat Allotment

Last Updated on April 17, 2026

The West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2026 is the official and centralized admission process for medical aspirants seeking MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH seats across the state. The counselling is meticulously organized and administered by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

Admissions for the 85% state quota seats in government medical colleges and 100% of seats in private medical/dental colleges (including state, management, and NRI quotas) are granted strictly based on the merit achieved in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. The WBMCC conducts the entire process online, encompassing registration, fee payment, document verification (which involves physical reporting at designated nodal centers), publication of the state merit list, and online choice filling.
