The Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026, officially designated as Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC), is the central admission process for securing MBBS, BDS, and BVSc & AH seats across the state. Handled by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), this counselling allocates the 85% state quota seats in government colleges and 100% of the seats in private medical and dental institutions in Bihar.
Admissions are strictly granted based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. The UGMAC procedure is entirely online, encompassing registration, release of the state merit list (Rank Card), web option entry (choice filling), and multiple rounds of seat allotment, culminating in physical document verification at the allotted centers.
To participate in the BCECEB UGMAC 2026 counselling, candidates must meet the following mandatory conditions:
Nationality & Domicile: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. The candidate must be a permanent resident/domicile of Bihar. Alternatively, applicants whose parents are state government employees or central government employees currently posted in Bihar are also eligible for the state quota.
