Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026: Dates, Eligibility, Application Process & Seat Allotment

Last Updated on April 17, 2026

The Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026 is the official and centralized admission process for medical aspirants seeking MBBS and BDS seats under the 85% state quota. The counselling is meticulously organized and administered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, on behalf of the Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Punjab.

Admissions for seats in government medical colleges, government-aided institutions, and private medical/dental colleges (including state-regulated quotas in prestigious private institutes like CMC and DMC Ludhiana) are granted strictly based on the merit achieved in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. The BFUHS handles the entire online admission pipeline, including registration, document verification, publication of the State Merit List, online preference filling, and final seat allotment.
