The Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 is the official centralized admission process for medical aspirants seeking MBBS, BDS, and Ayurvedic seats under the 85% state quota. The counselling is administered by the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, and is officially conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak.

Admissions are granted strictly on the basis of merit and scores achieved in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. The process allocates seats for government, government-aided, and private medical and dental colleges across Haryana. The counselling involves online registration, physical document verification at nodal centers, followed by online choice filling and seat allotment.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the DMER Haryana NEET 2026 state counselling, candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:

  • Nationality & Domicile: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. To claim the 85% state quota seats, the candidate must be a Bonafide Resident of Haryana. Candidates who have studied 11th and 12th standard from recognized schools in Haryana are generally eligible, as are children of Haryana government employees.

  • NEET Qualification: Candidates must have successfully cleared the NEET UG 2026 examination and secured the minimum qualifying percentile set by the NTA.

  • Academic Qualifications: Must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

  • Minimum Marks: General category candidates require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB in their 12th standard. For SC/BCA/BCB category candidates, the minimum requirement is 40%, and for PwD, it is 45%.

  • Age Limit: The candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026.
