Jammu and Kashmir NEET UG Counselling 2026: Dates, Eligibility, Application Process & Seat Allotment

Last Updated on April 17, 2026

The Jammu and Kashmir NEET UG Counselling 2026 is the official gateway for medical aspirants aiming to secure MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH seats across government and private medical colleges in the Union Territory. The counselling process is highly regulated and administered by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE).

Admissions for the 85% UT quota seats are granted strictly on the basis of merit and scores achieved in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. The BOPEE handles the entire admission pipeline, which includes online registration, document verification, the release of the UT provisional merit list (PML), and the subsequent rounds of online choice filling and seat allotment.
